What Is Corobrick Namaqua?

Corobrick is South Africa's leading manufacturer of fired clay paving bricks. Unlike cement bricks, which get their colour from surface pigments, Corobrick bricks are coloured throughout — the colour comes from the mineral content of the clay, fired at high temperatures. This means the colour is stable over decades and doesn't fade or chalk the way some cement bricks can.

The Namaqua colour is a deep, dark brownish-charcoal — named after the Namaqua region's characteristic stone tones. It sits at the darker end of the Corobrick range, alongside Ironstone, and contrasts well with lighter-coloured homes and lighter garden elements.
